Galvin-Rowley Executive is partnering with a privately backed organisation to appoint a Chief Executive Officer to lead the establishment of Australia’s first local manufacturing capability in clinical nutrition. This initiative introduces a new level of supply security, quality assurance, and long-term resilience across Australia and Australasia.

This is a foundational leadership role with the scope to shape strategy, build operations, and deliver meaningful impact across healthcare and patient outcomes.

About the role
Based in Adelaide, with regular engagement across national stakeholders, the CEO will lead both the strategic direction and operational build of the business.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring the ability to move between long-term vision and immediate execution.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Defining and delivering the business strategy
  • Leading the establishment and commissioning of a new manufacturing facility
  • Building commercial pathways across hospitals, aged care, and pharmacy channels
  • Engaging with government, regulatory bodies, and industry stakeholders
  • Establishing a high-performing leadership team and organisational culture
  • Ensuring compliance with TGA and relevant regulatory frameworks
The opportunity
The organisation will be developed through staged phases, including:
  • Immediate refurbishment and commissioning of a liquid manufacturing facility
  • Establishment of an innovation capability to support product development
  • Expansion into specialised powder manufacturing
The business is supported by international partnerships, providing access to advanced technology and manufacturing expertise.
Initial products will focus on clinical nutrition used in patient recovery, with early emphasis on geriatric care.

About you
You are an experienced executive who combines strategic insight with operational capability.
Your background is likely to include:
  • Qualifications and a  leadership career in clinical or medical nutrition, or adjacent healthcare sectors
  • Senior leadership experience at CEO or General Manager level
  • Experience within start-up, scale-up, or greenfield manufacturing environments
  • Broad capability across operations, commercial strategy, finance, and people leadership
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including interaction with government and regulators
You bring a commercial mindset, a focus on outcomes, and a genuine interest in building a business with long-term impact.
