We are seeking an experienced Board Chair to lead the Board through its next phase, providing strategic oversight, strong governance and considered leadership as the Market continues to evolve.

Your background is likely to include:
- Chair experience within consumer-facing, retail, brand, or marketing-led organisations

- Experience operating within multi-stakeholder environments across public, private and community settings
- A genuine interest in customer experience, place-making, and community connection
You will also bring:

- Experience partnering closely with a CEO or General Manager
- AICD Graduate or Fellow status (or equivalent governance credentials)
Why this role
Dandenong Market sits at the heart of one of Australia’s most culturally diverse municipalities. As Chair, your leadership will help ensure the Market continues to thrive, commercially, culturally, and socially, while remaining a place of connection, opportunity and shared value for the community it serves.
