Galvin Rowley Executive has been exclusively retained to recruit a Procurement Operations Manager for one of Australia's largest ASX-listed organisations.
With operations spanning thousands of team members, multiple business divisions and a significant national procurement spend, our client is undertaking an enterprise-wide transformation of its procurement capability.
This newly created leadership opportunity will play a pivotal role in strengthening procurement governance, reporting, analytics, systems, supplier risk and operational excellence.

The Opportunity
Reporting to the Head of Procurement Operations, you will lead the day-to-day coordination and continuous improvement of procurement operations across the enterprise.

You'll be responsible for establishing best-practice governance, reporting frameworks, procurement systems, contract lifecycle management, supplier risk processes and procurement enablement.
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Procurement Excellence, Procurement Operations or Procurement Governance professional looking to step into a highly visible enterprise role.

Key Responsibilities
 
  • Lead procurement reporting and analytics
  • Develop executive dashboards and procurement insights
  • Manage governance frameworks and compliance activities
  • Oversee contract lifecycle management processes
  • Support supplier risk and third-party assurance
  • Act as procurement systems SME
  • Drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Develop procurement tools, templates and playbooks
  • Support procurement transformation programs
  • Partner across Finance, Technology, Legal, Risk and Procurement
About You 
You will bring:
 
  • 7–10+ years' experience in Procurement Operations, Procurement Excellence or Governance
  • Experience supporting enterprise procurement transformation
  • Strong reporting and analytical capability
  • Advanced Power BI, Excel and procurement systems experience
  • Knowledge of contract lifecycle management and supplier governance
  • Experience with procurement platforms such as Coupa, Ariba, Ivalua or similar
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to simplify complex operational processes
