The Opportunity
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, Oceania, the General Manager will have full accountability for the strategic direction, commercial performance and operational success of the business.
Leading a seven-member leadership team across Engineering, Operations, Project Management, Sales & Marketing, Finance, Compliance & Safety, and Consulting Services, you will drive growth, operational excellence, customer success and innovation.
You will grow and strengthen an already strong market position, expand customer relationships, identify new growth opportunities and ensure the business remains at the forefront of advanced manufacturing, automation, robotics and Industry 4.0 solutions.
Key Responsibilities
You are a commercially astute and technically credible executive who can balance growth, operational performance and customer relationships within a project-based engineering or technology environment.
You bring a proven track record of leading complex businesses, building high-performing teams and delivering sustainable growth across manufacturing, engineering, automation, industrial technology or related sectors.
Experience in both small-medium as well as large corporate environments will be highly regarded.

- Assume full P&L accountability for revenue, profitability and operational performance
- Identify emerging market opportunities, technologies and strategic partnerships
- Strengthen collaboration with global business units and technical experts
- Build and deepen relationships with key customers, industry partners and stakeholders
- Lead strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting and commercial risk management
- Drive operational excellence, project delivery performance and scalable systems
- Champion innovation, digital transformation and continuous improvement
- Ensure strong governance, safety, compliance and quality management
- Build a high performing leadership team to drive growth
- Build organisational capability, leadership depth and succession readiness

- Significant executive leadership experience as a General Manager, Managing Director, COO, CEO or similar senior leader
- Demonstrated experience leading businesses with full P&L accountability
- Proven success driving revenue growth, profitability and operational performance
- Strong commercial acumen and business development capability
- Experience leading multidisciplinary technical, commercial and operational teams
- Experience selling or delivering complex engineering, automation, manufacturing technology, systems integration or capital equipment solutions
- Strong stakeholder engagement, negotiation and communication skills
- Proven ability to lead organisational transformation and change
