Client Relationship Manager - Automotive Software Solutions

Location: Sydney Salary: Commission + car allowance + Profit sharing bonus

Step beyond the dealership environment into a client-focused role offering balance, growth, and impact.

We’re seeking a Client Relationship Manager to join a global technology business that partners with dealerships across Australia. This role offers the chance to blend your automotive knowledge with consulting, training, and relationship management in a professional setting.

With a competitive salary, hybrid working arrangements (two days in the office, the remainder between home and client visits), and a supportive leadership team, this is a rare opportunity to advance your career while maintaining work–life balance.

About the Role
As Client Relationship Manager, you’ll manage a portfolio of dealerships ranging from large groups to regional independents. Your focus will be on building trusted partnerships, ensuring clients gain the most from their dealer management software, and providing ongoing consultancy and support.
Reporting to a senior leader with longstanding tenure and an excellent track record of employee engagement, you’ll be part of a collaborative and customer-first team.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Building strong relationships with dealer principals, service managers, and parts managers.
  • Delivering training, consultancy, and product demonstrations to enhance system value.
  • Identifying opportunities for clients to benefit from additional solutions (without aggressive sales targets).
  • Coordinating new installations and projects alongside technical experts.
  • Visiting clients across NSW, with some interstate travel for training.
  • Maintaining accurate account records and engagement plans in Salesforce.

About You
You’ll bring credibility and confidence from your background in the automotive sector, with a natural ability to connect across dealership environments.
We’re looking for:
  • Previous experience in a dealership environment (essential).
  • Strong communication and rapport-building skills.
  • Familiarity with Dealer Management Systems (Pentana, Titan, Tune or similar).
  • High IT proficiency and ease presenting to senior stakeholders.
  • A professional, consultative, and client-focused approach.
  • Ability to travel intra-state and inter-state

What’s on Offer
  • Competitive salary package: $90K–$100K base + super + car allowance + commission + profit-sharing bonus.
  • Hybrid working: two days in-office, balance between home and client visits.
  • Family-friendly environment supporting work–life balance.
  • Career growth within a global organisation undergoing cultural transformation.
  • A stable team with long-tenured colleagues and strong leadership support.

How to Apply
If you’re an automotive professional ready to transition into a consultative role that combines client engagement, technology, and growth opportunities—without weekend dealership hours—this role is for you.
