Dave Willett appointed Harbour Master at Tasmanian Ports Corporation

By Jennifer Galvin-Rowley

Earlier this year, Jen Galvin-Rowley was delighted to partner with Matthew Johnston, General Manager Marine Services at Tasmanian Ports Corporation to replace their retiring Harbour Master.

Following an extensive Search, David Willett was appointed Harbour Master and Marine Manager responsible for all Tasmanian Commercial Ports. David and his family relocated from Queensland for the appointment. David’s previous experience includes unrestricted ship captain, port operations, Workplace safety and business advisory.

“I have used Galvin Rowley Executive for two job placements now. I have the approach of Jen and her staff to be thorough, respectful and very considered as she walks both the candidate and the employer through the selection process.

After starting my last role she has followed up with both my employer and myself to make sure the fit was right and to check if there were any issues she could assist in resolving.

I would recommend GRE to any candidate looking for an executive appointment and will be using her when our organisation next begins recruitment of senior positions.”
