Inspired by uniquely Australian living, Globewest create distinctive furniture and homewares for beautiful spaces. GlobeWest is an Australian-owned company based in Melbourne, Victoria. Since their humble beginnings, they have grown to become a leading supplier to the Australian Interiors industry.

Their co-founders, brothers Alan and Stephen Mendel, still fully own and actively run GlobeWest. They are supported by an ever-growing contingent of expert staff across various departments, from design and product development to logistics.

GlobeWest design, develop, distribute and market a covetable range of furniture and homewares. Their products are distributed throughout Australia, New Zealand and the USA.

Galvin-Rowley Executive was invited to manage the Search for their Head of Markerting by Co-Founder Stephen Mendel and Head of People and Culture, Marianne Stamatakis.

With the role being pivotal to the ongoing branding and growth strategy for the business, they were seeking a talented Marketing
Leader with a vast breadth of experience, including Digital/ eCommerce, CRM, Brand Communications, Trade Marketing and Graphic Design.

Jennifer Galvin-Rowley and Melissa Bridge partnered with GlobeWest on this key Senior Appointment. Carrying out an extensive industry and aligned sectors search, the team presented a strong field of some of the industry’s strongest marketing candidates.

Jacinta Whitehead was appointed to the role and commenced mid 2022.

Jacinta is an outstanding Marketing Director who brings equal strengths in creative and analytical thinking to drive results. Jacinta loves the end-to-end process, starting with an insight, leading to a strategic plan, stakeholder engagement, execution and post-analysis review. She thrives on setting the agenda and rolling her sleeves up to get the job done. Previously, Jacinta was the Marketing Director for Mattel.
