Appointment Announcement | Andrew O’Brien, Global Field Service Director, Compac

Jennifer at Galvin Rowley Executive is delighted to have once again worked with Compac to place Andrew O’Brien as Global Field Service Director with Compac.

Compac provides integrated post-harvest solutions and services to the global fresh produce industry and is part of the TOMRA Group – a Norwegian multinational corporation active in the manufacturing of advanced collection and sorting solutions for resource optimization. The company is the largest Reverse Vending Machine provider globally and a leading provider of sensor-based sorting solutions for the food, recycling and mining industries.

Andrew will commence in January 2020 and operate from Melbourne reporting into VP Global Services, based in California, USA. In this newly created role, Andrew will be leading a large geographically dispersed team including four Regional Managers across New Zealand, Australia, West Coast USA and East Coast USA as well as a broader team of 140+ Engineers delivering outstanding service delivery to Compac Customers.

Andrew is an open and engaging leader, with a passion for people, innovation and engineering. He brings 18 years organisational experience across a variety of industries including Senvion, Honeywell Process Solutions, CustomVis and Nokia and has a unique combination of skills across technical operations, commercial & financial management, maintenance, project delivery, business development and leadership. This breadth of experience, together with his highly adaptable and agile leadership style will enable him to find opportunities for maximum customer impact and business optimisation.
