Senior People & Culture Business Partner
Adelaide | Multi-site
We’re partnering with a large, complex South Australian business to appoint a Senior People & Culture Business Partner to support a diverse, predominantly trade-based workforce across metro and regional locations.
This is a true senior BP role; commercial, hands-on and influential, with responsibility for partnering closely with executive and operational leaders while leading a small P&C team.
The opportunity
Operating across a ~$350m revenue business with multiple operating models, this role supports approximately 30+ sites across South Australia, spanning retail, trade and manufacturing-style environments. This is a role for a P&C leader who is comfortable on the ground, in the detail, and at the table.
You’ll lead two direct reports (People & Culture Business Partners), work closely with the senior P&C leader for the region, and maintain a strong dotted-line relationship with the GM.

What you’ll be doing
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on all people and culture matters
- Lead ER strategy and manage complex employee relations issues
- Drive change initiatives, organisational design and workforce planning
- Lift leadership capability through coaching and practical guidance
- Lead talent, succession and performance processes across the region
- Partner effectively with central P&C shared services
- Build a strong, safe, engaged and performance-focused culture
About you
- Significant experience as a senior HR / P&C Business Partner
- Strong background in retail, manufacturing, logistics or blue-collar environments
- Confident managing ER in complex, operational settings
- Commercially astute with the ability to influence at senior levels
- Experienced leading or mentoring other P&C practitioners
- Comfortable balancing strategy with hands-on delivery
- Senior, visible role with real influence
- Broad operational exposure across metro and regional SA
- Strong leadership remit with scope to shape culture and capability
- Adelaide-based (location not CBD-centric)
