The Opportunity

We’re seeking a skilled and motivated Operations Manager to lead and optimise our operational support team. This pivotal role reports directly to the General Manager, with two direct reports and a high level of cross-functional collaboration.

You’ll oversee logistics, resource planning, compliance, and coordination across our helicopter operations to ensure we meet the critical demands of emergency response. You'll be working with internal teams, regulatory bodies, clients, and international partners to uphold operational efficiency and excellence.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operational planning and logistics
  • Manage pilot rostering, ensuring readiness and compliance
  • Oversee key operational systems (Air Maestro, TracPlus, ARENA)
  • Liaise with suppliers, clients, and stakeholders
  • Uphold documentation, safety, and emergency response protocols
  • Ensure contractual and regulatory requirements are met


About You

  • Experienced in fast-paced, complex operational environments
  • A confident leader with outstanding planning and coordination skills
  • Clear communicator with a collaborative mindset
  • Willing to manage out-of-hours (on-call) duties as needed
  • Strong proficiency in operational software and logistics
  • Comfortable with procurement and supplier management
  • C-class driver’s licence (mandatory)
  • Aviation, emergency services, or seasonal industry experience (preferred)

Note: Due to the critical nature of this position, the successful candidate must reside within a 30-minute radius of our headquarters in Mangalore or be happy to relocate.
