An exciting executive leadership position has emerged within the Consumer sector, following the strategic integration of two well-established businesses. Backed by an ASX-listed parent company, this division is targeting significant national expansion and innovation.

As Chief Financial Officer, you will work closely with the CEO and executive team to define and drive commercial strategy, lead post-merger integration, and deliver high-performance financial leadership across a multi-brand, multi-site operation.

Key Responsibilities
 
  • Define and execute long-term financial strategy aligned with ambitious growth targets.
  • Lead commercial and operational finance, M&A activity, and integration efforts.
  • Embed robust financial governance, systems, and controls within a complex consumer-facing environment.
  • Provide strategic insights to optimise margin performance, investment decisions, and customer profitability.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing finance function, drive talent development and succession planning.
  • Influence key stakeholders, including Board and Group Finance, with credibility and impact.
  
 
About You

To be considered for this pivotal role, you will demonstrate:
 
  • Proven CFO or senior finance leadership experience in a large corporate, preferably within FMCG, distribution, retail, or related sectors.
  • Deep expertise in M&A transactions, integration, and transformation within high-growth, fast-paced environments.
  • A decisive, agile, and strategic mindset, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive commercial outcomes.
  • Exceptional emotional intelligence and gravitas, with a track record of influencing senior stakeholders and cultivating strong cross-functional relationships.
  • An innate bias for action—you get things done.

Location
 
Melbourne South/East suburbs (onsite leadership presence expected).
