About the Role

 
Reporting to the General Manager, you’ll be the key point of contact for members and suppliers, responsible for:

• Coordinating national and regional events
• Managing member communications and promotional materials
• Supervising a small internal team
• Overseeing office operations and supplier relationships
• Supporting continuous improvements in processes and systems

  
This is a varied, long-term role with flexibility around hours (full-time or 4-day week considered), offering strong local stability and purpose.

You’re organised, personable and calm under pressure — someone who enjoys helping others and keeps things moving smoothly behind the scenes. You’ll likely bring experience in:
  

• Membership, events, communications, or general operations
• A member-based or small-to-medium business environment
• Managing stakeholder requests with professionalism, even when they’re last-minute or occasionally challenging
• Supervising small teams and juggling competing priorities with good judgement and a steady hand
• Working locally and collaboratively within a small team
