A pioneering green technology leader in the circular economy is seeking a commercially astute and operationally hands-on Chief Financial Officer to help lead the next stage of strategic growth. This role offers the rare opportunity to shape financial operations for an Australian-owned innovator poised for significant national and international expansion.
The Opportunity
As CFO, you’ll take the helm of a high-impact finance function during a time of exciting transformation and cross-border scale-up. Your mandate: to embed rigorous financial systems, sharpen commercial strategy, and support the executive team in preparing the organisation for liquidity events, including IPO or trade sale.
This role is ideal for a CFO or senior finance executive with proven experience in high-growth, industrial, or capital-intensive environments. Your ability to navigate complexity, communicate with clarity, and act as a strategic business partner will be pivotal in this next chapter.

Your Impact
Strategic Finance & Commercial Leadership
- Drive financial strategy, forecasting, and scenario modelling to inform data-led decisions.
- Advise the CEO and Board on commercial risk, capital event readiness, and long-term value creation.
- Partner with leaders across operations, supply chain, and trading to embed performance accountability.
Financial Control & Operational Rigour
- Lead the finance team, ensuring robust governance, compliance, and accurate reporting.
- Respond to audit findings with decisive control improvements and accountability frameworks.
- Overhaul inventory finance and supplier systems to better support global trading dynamics, including currency exposure and commodity risk management.
Capital Management & Stakeholder Engagement
- Manage banking relationships, funding strategies, and capital deployment.
- Play a visible role in investor relations, capital raising, and due diligence processes.
- Shape financial narratives that instill confidence in prospective investors and strategic partners.
Team Leadership & Cultural Alignment
- Build, mentor, and restructure the finance function to align with organisational values and growth objectives.
- Champion a culture of integrity, continuous improvement, and commercial discipline.
- Contribute as a key member of the executive team, promoting cross-functional collaboration and enterprise leadership.
- Experienced CFO or Head of Finance with a strong track record in fast-paced, scaling businesses.
- Deeply familiar with manufacturing, sustainability, recycling, industrial, or capital-intensive sectors.
- Commercially savvy with exposure to IPO preparation, trade sales, or PE-backed scaling environments.
- A high-integrity leader, combining strategic foresight with hands-on operational delivery.
- Naturally aligned to mission-driven, impact-oriented cultures, and adept at navigating complexity with resilience.
