About the Opportunity

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Manager – Innovation to oversee the end-to-end delivery of new and evolving product development initiatives. Based in Heidelberg and reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, this pivotal role will drive the product innovation pipeline from concept through to launch, ensuring every project aligns with commercial goals and consumer expectations.

This is a fixed term contract role commencing immediately and concluding January 2026, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-integrity environment and enjoys working collaboratively across marketing, production, supply chain, finance, and quality teams.


Key Responsibilities

• Lead all innovation and product development projects (excluding seasonal), ensuring seamless management of critical paths and adherence to the NPD Stage Gate process.
• Own and continuously improve the NPD framework, ensuring clear accountability and stakeholder alignment.
• Manage packaging development timelines and ensure artwork and product specifications are delivered to the highest standards.
• Oversee post-launch reviews, product range optimisation, and costing accuracy to drive commercial performance.
• Champion collaboration across departments, maintaining a robust innovation pipeline aligned to strategic growth plans.
• Support compliance, regulatory, and customer requirements throughout the development lifecycle.

• A proven track record in project management within FMCG, preferably food or beverage.
• Strong commercial and business acumen with the ability to interpret P&L, costings, and product margins.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills to influence and engage cross-functional teams.
