This role will appeal to a talented General Manager with the ability to partner with the Chief Executive Officer and broader ELT to lead the business into the future by building a robust People & Culture strategy to support the future growth of the business.

Our client is an Australian owned and operated facilities management company.  The company has been growing steadily since it established operations in 1995 partnering with industry and government to provide a range of services.  In 2017, it established operations in New Zealand and now employs 600+ staff operating across 16 sites in Aust/NZ.
Offering end-to-end solutions for preventative and reactive maintenance, as well as the management of projects for wide-ranging and complex facilities including buildings; parks, gardens and other open spaces; major events venues; transport infrastructure; high-security facilities with restricted access and high-profile facilities and assets.
With strong leadership capabilities and a strategic focus, you will be leading an existing team of five to deliver outstanding services to the business.  Strengths in organisational design, succession planning, talent management as well as L&D will be key to the successful appointment.
We are seeking to appoint a senior leader with at least 15 years P&C experience with at least five in a senior management role.  Relevant tertiary qualifications (Business/Commerce/HR) as well a strong safety focus and experience managing OH&S.  Demonstrated leadership success as GM/P&C in a similar sized business.  You will be able to demonstrate well developed commercial acumen as well as solid employee relations capability.  With demonstrated people management skills, you will have strong learning, training and development abilities.  Quick to learn and adapt, you will be able to demonstrate a confident leadership style as well as high EQ.  With strong professional and personal values, you will need to have a genuine interest in people and be able to support their ongoing growth and development.  In addition to will have well developed coaching and counselling skills and be self-motivated, persistent and determined to deliver strong results.
